The Coffee Experience at Casa La Sierrecilla

This is a short introduction to this additional facility which we now offer. Please note that use of the machine is subject to the CONDITIONS set out below

First we should say that the rental price of Casa La Sierrecilla includes a Krups domestic espresso machine, a filter coffee machine and a cafetiere.
Now we can also offer a full size commercial coffee machine subject to the conditions of use set out below.
The machine is directly connected to the mains water supply and drainage, so filling with water is not needed. It also provides constant boiled water, a steamer for those capuccinos and the capacity to make 3 coffees at a time. Heating milk takes only a few seconds.
Since cleaning, operating and servicing of this machine require the skills of a 'barista' (specially trained espresso operator), we have adapted the machine to use monodosis and bi-dosis. These are sachets of the exact quantity and weight to make the perfect coffee. They are made by Cafes Castel in Malaga and are used by Spain's Paradores for their special "gourmet coffee menu". They are generally regarded as producing amongst the best coffee in the world ( see the on-line Tea & Coffee magazine at www.teaandcoffee.net). You can have the same at a fraction of the price.
Since the machine is now adapted to take only monodosis and bi-dosis, it is a condition of using the machine that you buy these directly from us. The prices for the full range on offer from Cafes Castel (including decaffeinated) are displayed on the left. We stock the smooth and delicious Java brand at 7.50 Euros (approx £5.00) for a box of 25. That's only .30cents (20pence) per cup of probably the best coffee you can buy. All brands need to be ordered at least two weeks before your stay.
Guests usually pay for the coffee by deduction from the breakages deposit (up to a maximum of 100 Euros) Any additional orders must be paid for separately (please order at least 2 weeks in advance of arrival).
For those wishing to use the facility, we also ask that at least one of the party take 10-15 minutes to learn the technique on arrival.

CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE BEZZERA BISTRO COFFEE MACHINE
Only monodosis and/or bi-dosis may be used in the machine, which can be purchased from us. At least one member of the party must spend 10-15 minutes learning to operate and clean the machine at the start of your stay. GROUND AND/OR INSTANT COFFEE CANNOT BE USED IN THE MACHINE.
