How to Buy Tickets for the Alhambra, Granada(Information correct in August 2007!): Opening Hours: November to March (entrance is
restricted to 6,300 people per day). April to October (entrance is
restricted to 7,700 people per day). Ticket Prices: Add 1€ to the prices below if you are booking in advance. General daytime visit, (including the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, and the Generalife: 10 € (general ticket), 7 € for senior citizens aged 65 years and over and pensioners from the European Union, and free entry for children up to 8 years of age and visitors with special needs. Ticket to visit the gardens only: 5 € Night-time visit: 10 € (general ticket), 7 € for senior citizens aged 65 years and over and pensioners from the European Union, and free entry for children up to 8 years of age and visitors with special needs. How to buy Tickets. On the day of your visit. Tickets can be bought from the Alhambra Ticket Office (risky especially in summer as they may be sold out!). Arrive early! Your tickets will show a half hour window during which time you can enter the Nasrid Palaces.
Online in advance Tickets can be bought online from the ServiCaixa Website in advance of your visit. Remember that your tickets will show a half hour window during which time you can enter the Nasrid Palaces and this is strictly enforced to control visitor numbers. When you reserve your tickets you will be able to say whether you prefer morning or afternoon admission times. One person can buy a maximum of 5 tickets. Pick up your tickets from the Alhambra Ticket Office (where it says Retirada de Reservas). Provide your online reservation number and show your passport. Purchase on the Internet: www.alhambra-tickets.es By phone in advance Call 902 888 001 if you are in Spain or +34 934 923 750 from abroad. Again, pick up your tickets from the Alhambra Ticket Office (where it says Retirada de Reservas). Bring the same credit card that you used to make the booking.
Bono Turistico / Granada City Pass. This is a ticket that gives access to all main Granada attractions (The Alhambra, Generalife, Cartuja Monastery, Science Park, Cathedral and Royal Chapel). Entry time to the Nasrid palaces will still be specified. You can buy the Pass at the Caja Granada website, and collect it at the branch of Caja Granada that you specify, or you can buy it directly at the Alhambra ticket office, the Royal chapel or the SciencePark. If you buy a pass you should arrive at least one hour in advance of your specified time at the Alhambra Ticket Office where they will give you your entrance ticket to the Nasrid Palaces. The price of the City Pass is 26.50€ online or 24.50€ if bought at a ticket office. Don't forget to read our article on Granada before your visit!
